It's funny how everyone thinks people from younger generations dress like crazy people. It's been happening at least since the flapper era. Probably even before that!

Can confirm LARP is the go-to insult for the kids these days. My 15 year old son is constantly telling my 13 year old daughter to quit LARPing whenever she expresses any interest in anything. Could be volleyball or Vermont. "LARP!"

Anyone that's anyone, from an individual creator a huge brand, has to invest in forming their own tribe. There's still room for trends and dominant cultural moments, but it requires those that are actually fluent in how the internet operates. Unless you want to be one more disparate aesthetic a zoomer puts on to larp as interesting, now more than ever you have to create community more than anything else.
