Hi friends! Welcome back to After School ✨weekend edition✨, an extra long and extra opinionated youth culture digest for paid subscribers.
All I really want to talk about right now is Roe v. Wade and how angry I am about the state of things, and how absolutely f*cked it is that this is our reality. As the dissenting judges said, after today young women will come of age with fewer rights than their mothers and grandmothers had. How is that possible? What is wrong with the Supreme Court? What is wrong with the world?
You’ve probably read as many furious articles and tweets and Instagram pleas as I have, so if you’d like a brief reprieve from rage-scrolling, I have about 1,700 words that’ll distract you for 5 or so minutes, mostly because I needed a distraction from my own anger.
