Hello, it’s Friday! I got my booster yesterday, so my brain (and my body) is only running at half capacity, but damn, isn’t science great? I’ve never been so happy to feel so bad. All of that’s to say, if my writing is less lucid than normal, or there are more typos than usual, it’s really not my fault. It’s Pfizer’s.

So, what did we learn this week, other than that Gen Z boys are singlehandedly keeping the sea salt spray afloat, that irony is dead, and that a fake tan shortage is plaguing the UK? A lot.

Today, we’ll be digging into a little deeper into three key findings:

  • 👄 Young singles don’t care about looks, nope, not one bit

  • 🍼 Wow, these Alphas are really going to take over, huh?

  • 💸 VCs are 1) investing directly in young creators and 2) changing fashion
